Abstract:
A GPS application that incorporates integrity into the maps (Global Positioning
System) ensures that the user does not get spoofed. Coordinates are extracted
from Google in a JSON file regarding longitude and latitude values and stored in
the BlockChain as reference coordinates. These reference coordinates are then
compared with the real-time coordinates when a user searches a route. When
mismatched, these two sets of coordinates detect spoofing. BlockChain is a safe,
tamper-proof technology that gives the user a secure environment to get reference
data. We have incorporated BlockChain to make GPS systems Secure and increase
their integrity. This system quickly detects spoofing as this becomes a database
that cannot be edited or modified in any case
