dc.description.abstract Conditioning chamber is an electromechanical equipment based on the working principle of refrigeration cycle. The equipment is used to create an internal atmosphere where temperature and humidity can be controlled according to the desired testing conditions. The device is used for storage of different materials in order to bring them at a desired temperature and water content level. HVACR system manufacturing industry is an upcoming technological field with ample space for work in various areas. The local industry is dependent upon designs provided by international conglomerates. There is a need to gain knowledge of the design techniques based upon which selection of equipment is undertaken from renowned manufacturers worldwide and also enhance the indigenous potential in relevant fields. The civil and government organizations involved in development of these equipment are lagging in requisite knowledge of design techniques and are dependent on systems offered in the market. This research work addresses the issue and provides an in depth knowledge of the design technique for manufacture of custom design HVACR system. The study lays out the basic parameters as a foundation stone of design and undertakes calculations for ascertaining the cooling load, heating, humidification and dehumidification to form various building blocks. It also incorporates validation of the load calculations by refrigeration software, selection criterion of suitable refrigerant and selection/calculations related to major components of the system. en_US
