dc.description.abstract This thesis demonstrates the designing and fabricating procedure of electric ducted fans (EDF) used in aerospace and other applications. The primary design parameters include the blade design, duct length, duct shape, duct diameter, and duct clearance. The blade design is critical in determining the thrust, power, and efficiency of the fan. The duct design parameters such as length, shape, diameter, and clearance have significant impacts on the aerodynamics and performance of the fan. It is crucial to optimize these parameters to achieve the desired balance between performance, efficiency, and structural integrity of the fan. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) are useful tools for optimizing these design parameters. en_US
