InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a peer to peer filesharing and trans ferring protocol to create content-addressable, distributed and permanent
way of sharing and hosting hypermedia. It has been inspired and build on
top of pervious technologies like BitTorrent, DHT, Git and SFS to build
faster, secure and more open web. This thesis present a detailed analysis of
IPFS network from various perspectives like Network analysis, Performance
analysis and for that a series of experiments have been performed based on
different metrics and characteristics which yields statistical overview of the
network. The thesis also present a quick insight of IPFS protocol stack and
its component |
