Abstract:
The advent of more service-based apps and devices has increased the network
data demand exponentially. Frequency re-use through deployment of dense
small Base Stations is the main source to meet the exponential data demands
in 5G and Beyond Networks. User-centric architectures have been shown to
improve the quality of service in dense heterogeneous deployments. More over, Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS) is emerging as a solution to mitigate
the blockage effects, particularly at higher frequencies. In this project, sta tistical characterization of an IRS-aided user-centric network for Vehicular
communications is presented. The proposed User Centric architecture is de signed with suitable bounds and KPIs such as Interference, SINR and Outage
probability are analyzed.
