Abstract:
In Pakistan, the healthcare system faces significant difficulties in ensuring that everyone has equal
access to high-quality services. It is essential to carry out a root cause analysis to identify the
underlying factors that are causing the healthcare system's systemic deficiencies to effectively
address these issues. The purpose of this thesis is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the
Pakistani healthcare outcomes root causes, with an emphasis on comprehending the factors that
influence health inequality, healthcare access, and healthcare outcomes. The study investigates the
mediating role of socioeconomic conditions in the relationship between health inequality and the
health system outcomes. By analyzing existing literature, data, and conducting qualitative and
quantitative research, this thesis seeks to uncover the root causes of the healthcare system's
inefficiencies, including disparities in access, quality, and outcomes. This study's findings will
shed light on the systemic flaws and underlying causes of Pakistan's health Outcomes, assisting
stakeholders and policymakers in the design of specific interventions and policies. In the end, the
goal of this thesis is to improve Pakistan's healthcare Outcomes by promoting equity, accessibility,
and improved health outcomes for all citizens.
