Abstract:
In Pakistan, a country where 30-40% of fatalities are linked to cardiovascular diseases (CVDs),
the timely identification and intervention of these conditions are imperative to counter this
alarming trend. The conventional method of analyzing electrocardiograms (ECGs), though es sential, is often time-consuming and heavily reliant on specialized expertise, causing delays in
critical medical situations. To tackle this pressing concern, our research endeavors to intro duce an advanced ECG monitoring device tailored for cardiac health. This device will provide
real-time visualization and recording of ECG signals. The true breakthrough lies in the fu sion of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which harnesses extensive digitized ECG data sets, enabling
the AI to independently categorize various heart rhythms. This integration of live monitoring
and AI-guided classification has the potential to transform cardiac care in Pakistan. By signifi cantly expediting the diagnostic process, our goal is to reduce the time required for intervention,
empowering healthcare professionals to take rapid actions, consequently potentially lowering
CVD-related fatalities and improving overall patient prognoses.
