Virtual Telepresence Robot allows users to remotely control a robot in a virtual environment. Virtual reality technology relies on the use of computer technology to provide an immersive experience to the user which enables more spatial awareness and increases productivity. Users can experience a 3D environment rather than relying on a 2D view of the environment on a screen. The primary component of a VR system is a headset that offers a stereoscopic view of the virtual environment. A feedback system, like game controllers, is also incorporated into VR systems, allowing users to interact with their surroundings. The robot is controlled using a VR headset and its controllers, and the user's movements are mapped to the robot's movements in the virtual environment. It can be used for a variety of applications, like education, healthcare, and business. |
