Design and Development of Air Humidifier and Purifier

Abstract

Quality of air is an important factor for the good health and well-being of people. Most of the lung diseases are caused by poor air quality and research has shown that many heart and brain diseases are related to bad air quality. The presence of humidity in the air is also necessary for the human body. Dryness in the air leads to many health complications specifically in old people. In our project, we have worked on the solutions to the previously defined problems by designing an air purifier and humidifier in a single place and at a lower cost so that everyone can afford it contrary to the previously available expensive units. Our system is remotely controlled so that one can switch it on and off whenever he/she wants. Moreover, air quality humidity level and temperature are displayed on the LED and sent to the mobile application as well.
