dc.description.abstract The development of renewable energy-powered household devices is a result of growing awareness of sustainable living and the need for eco-friendly solutions. Due to the usage of an IC engine in older grass cutter models, pollution levels increased due to their negative effects on the environment. The costlier cutter is powered by an IC engine. Such a typical equipment requires additional maintenance. We intend to construct a new, more cost-effective model of lawn cutter that runs on solar energy in order to avoid these problems. Our project aims to create a grass cutter that runs on solar power, saving electricity and requiring less labor[1]. The Arduino Uno will be used in our project to operate the grass cutter. Both an autonomous system and a remote-control system will be used for motion control. Code for the autonomous system and remote-control system will also be available for Arduino. The Bluetooth Module HC-05 will be used for the remote-control system. In the autonomous system, the distance between the grass cutter and the obstacle will be measured using an ultrasonic sensor, and the result will be shown on an LCD display. The Grass Cutter will take a turn after the predetermined distance. en_US
