dc.description.abstract The construction industry is pivotal in tackling worldwide energy issues and promoting sustainable growth. Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) offer a transformative solution by incorporating renewable energy technologies directly into the structure of buildings This study explores the untapped potential of BIPV in Pakistan's construction sector, a region with immense solar energy capacity. Using a comprehensive methodology, key factors influencing BIPV adoption were identified through literature analysis and industry surveys. Systems thinking tools, including causal loop diagrams, were employed to elucidate the interconnections among these factors, and a system dynamics model was developed to simulate the complexities of BIPV adoption. Results highlight critical drivers such as energy efficiency and building envelope utilization. The study provides actionable insights for stakeholders, offering a roadmap to integrate BIPV into Pakistan’s construction practices effectively. By bridging the knowledge gap, this study not only adds to the academic discourse on renewable energy alternatives but also supports global efforts toward carbon-neutral built environments. en_US
