dc.description.abstract This Final Year Project (Quadcopter modeling and simulation) increases the efficiency of a drone working and for its better understanding in actual performance. We are living in 21st century in which technology is daily advancing. Daily research is made in the field of drones and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Better performance of a drone is proportional to its understanding and for this we as a group of three students contributed our research and better understanding in this project which will help not only us but others as well. before we test any drone it’s always a better option to test it virtually by setting different parameters and coordinates which will help in pre warnings and precautions which will be considered at the time of actual implementation of the project the purpose of testing it virtually is that we cannot afford any collateral damage in the hardware of drone which is risky and can only be fixed by experts. MATLAB is one of most widely used software in the field of engineering. Almost every engineering subject is directly or indirectly linked with MATLAB functions. Drone library in MALTAB helps us to perform various tasks which are necessary before we move forward in this project. Not only MATLAB another language known as Python is also used in this project which helps in image processing and face detection from a certain height which requires a CAD design model in software like Creo or solid works which is later on used in both MATLAB as well as in python. The sole idea for all this is to bring better functioning in drones, better understand it, enable to perform tasks which are required with high precision, be aware of all hurdles etc. [1] en_US
