dc.description.abstract |
Industry of present era is getting smarter day by day. New problems require smart and
efficient solution. Industry 4.0 is rising with IOT technology and smart long life energy
efficient solutions. Everything is connected to main server and monitored. Conveyor Belt is
bedrock in logistic and transport industries. Boosting production but conventional conveyor
belt system is very tedious in maintaining health and monitoring. It is connected to the tower
with long wires and facing battery optimization problem. Our solution providing smart
conveyor belt a energy efficient solution using Piezo-electric and Electromagnetic Energy
harvester and wire-less monitoring system using Zigbee mesh networking. Using JN5168
wireless microcontroller providing long life-battery saving solution for networking. This
project is divided into three parts Mechanical design proposing PEH and EMEH design for
harvesting energy, electronic circuitry stabilizing harvested energy and enlighten Wireless
Zigbee module and Zigbee JN5168 module developing communication for monitoring belt
via embedded sensors. |
