dc.description.abstract This present study is meant to plan and analyze the existing sewerage system of North colony (Risalpur) and suggest some corrective measures and design a proposed plan for waste water treatment.  The proposed design incorporated had two options o Option 1: Making of Trickling filters coupled with Grit Chamber o Option 2: Making of an exclusive Septic Tank  Option 2 is one of the best method of treatment according to conditions of Risalpur Cantt. Design of septic tank is recommended due to following reasons: o It's cleaning period is 6-12 months, so labour cost is less. o Requires no professionals. o After treatment, septic tank effluent will be deposed to soakage pit. o Sludge will be removed after 6-12 months. o More over, according to our cost estimation this method of treatment had least cost. en_US
