Abstract:
As we step into a new era, marked by environmental consciousness and a collective effort
towards sustainable practices, the need for eco-friendly transportation solutions has become
more pronounced than ever. The repercussions of fossil fuel usage on global warming have
prompted a global call to action, leading to the formulation of sustainable development goals by
institutions such as the United Nations General Assembly. In response to the pressing need for
cleaner modes of transportation, the 21st century has witnessed a transformative revolution in
the transport sector, primarily driven by the advent of Electric Vehicles (EVs) technology.
This paradigm shift has garnered widespread attention and support from governments
worldwide, with major automotive players vying for dominance in the burgeoning EV market.
One notable manifestation of this shift is the surge in Electric Bicycles (E-bikes) propelled by
electric propulsion systems.
Addressing this gap, our project endeavors to provide an affordable and versatile solution
through the "Electric Bicycle Conversion Kit." This innovative kit empowers users to convert
their standard bicycles into electric ones seamlessly and within minutes. Comprising essential
components such as a brushless DC motor (BLDC), a lithium-ion battery pack with a battery
management system, and a motor controller, all conveniently packed into a single kit, our
solution offers a streamlined and user-friendly approach. Unlike conventional E-bikes where
components are integrated into separate parts of the bicycle, our conversion kit consolidates
everything in one place. In essence, our project signifies a significant stride towards sustainable
and accessible transportation, aligning with the global push for reduced dependence on fossil
