dc.description.abstract Failure of the hydraulic components while they are being operated can be very hazardous given their wide range of applications in many industries. To ensure them to be in proper working condition, (be it hydraulic pumps, valves, or motors) which is not only necessary for the sake of avoiding any financial damage but also to avoid any kind of potential human injuries or even human loss before it happens, test benches are used to check the operational capability and working condition of hydraulic components. A comprehensive feasibility study for the bench (including the required components) was done along with the development of a new design of test bench based on the design of simulator for testing of vehicle engine environment (placed in ICE) which included the starter alternator and included variable frequency drive setup. The whole idea of the feasibility and design is to develop such a comprehensive model which would not only be a viable solution for testing of hydraulic components but also provide an easy to operate conditions with maximum output and accuracy. Furthermore, a universal linking mechanism was designed and developed to account for different shaft sizes at one end and would eliminate any impact caused by any misalignment overall. It will not only help in providing a compact design that will address our issue but also will save us is costs as far the amount of material that is used is concerned. Hence, being economical and one-for-all kind of solution. en_US
