dc.description.abstract The project's goal is to research, design, and assess a novel stair climbing trolley model. Pakistan, as a third-world country, lacks infrastructure such as elevators and escalators in business areas, necessitating engineering solutions such as stair climbing trolleys. We want to achieve a balance of efficiency and affordability that will fill a need in the market. That is why our primary goal is to create a trolley that can smoothly travel up and down the stairwell. There are other ways to construct a trolley, however we chose a “Timing Conveyor belt-based trackpad design” for our trolley. We wish to achieve innovation by providing feature of “adjustable height” and ability to climb all sorts of elevation. The design has been run through calculations based on theoretical information, 3D modeling on SolidWorks, and finally FEM analysis on Ansys. Due to lack of production units for such type of trolleys, so it is a reasonable venture to start production of the trolley commercially. Although our research just provides a prototype for the trolley, large-scale production could have vast uses in a variety of fields, ranging from consumer to industrial. en_US
