PHAZE: An Intuitive Product That Follows Your Own Clock

Abstract

Reflecting on our present modern lifestyles in regards to behavioural disturbances in our circadian rhythms and the problems caused by them, we see the importance of two factors that have led to these disturbances; inappropriate light and anomalous timings. Getting insights from our ancestors and people in the rural areas who are in tune with their inner clocks for solutions of better living habits, we understand our body's patterns in more details. Standardized time might be suitable for keeping masses organized but we need a deeper more personalized idea of time that runs in parallel with the existing standardised time in order for us to be more productive. This projects aims at designing an artefact for better understanding of the users personalized time and their circadian habits and needs, as a result reducing the chances of disorders attached to disrupted biological clock. For achieving the desired result the product will be of adaptive nature while modifying to the patterns of the users.
