dc.description.abstract The availability of clean drinking water in the time and era that we are living in has become something rare. Due to rapid urbanization, population and industrial growth, Pakistan faces a dramatic decrease in water availability per capita. In Pakistan, bacterial contamination, turbidity and the presence of various metallic and non-metallic contaminants as well as sewage, industrial waste and agricultural runoff have polluted natural freshwater reserves. The aim of this research is to highlight the need for reducing these contaminants from water especially arsenic contents so that the filtered water becomes usable for drinking and cooking purposes. en_US
