Abstract:
The typical household in Pakistan has an average of 6. 7 persons, but abou
t
onequarter
(26 percent) o f all households have four or fewer members. The
breakdown by place of residence shows that there are more members in u
rban
households (7.2 persons) than in rural households (6.5 persons).Pakistan ra
nks
eighth among the ten countries that collectively hold 60 percent of
substandard housing across the world. People in such houses don't acquire
enough space and often find it difficult to sleep comfortably due to
overcrowdedness, resulting in frustration. Mental health of these people is
overlooked in our country even though population living in unplanned hous
es
(% of urban population) in Pakistan was reported at 40.1 % in 2018, acco
rding
to the World Bank collection of development indicators, compiled from
officially recognized sources. This project aims to find a viable and conveni
ent
solution for people who live in unplanned houses so that all of the membe
rs of
the family can sleep comfortably at the same time without overcrowding th
eir
houses.
