dc.description.abstract The typical household in Pakistan has an average of 6. 7 persons, but abou t onequarter (26 percent) o f all households have four or fewer members. The breakdown by place of residence shows that there are more members in u rban households (7.2 persons) than in rural households (6.5 persons).Pakistan ra nks eighth among the ten countries that collectively hold 60 percent of substandard housing across the world. People in such houses don't acquire enough space and often find it difficult to sleep comfortably due to overcrowdedness, resulting in frustration. Mental health of these people is overlooked in our country even though population living in unplanned hous es (% of urban population) in Pakistan was reported at 40.1 % in 2018, acco rding to the World Bank collection of development indicators, compiled from officially recognized sources. This project aims to find a viable and conveni ent solution for people who live in unplanned houses so that all of the membe rs of the family can sleep comfortably at the same time without overcrowding th eir houses. en_US
