Abstract:
The lack ofawareness ofglobal warming has reflected a sharp increase in the detrimental effects
on the environment. This correlation has received significant attention; hence, my Graduation
Project's main aim is to teach young teens & adults (12+ years) the solutions to global warming
through an interactive, tangible game. This can also help instill societal responsibility and critical
thinking skills. Keeping all the research results in mind, I applied them to my ideation process to
design a game that motivates the players to do their best, stimulates discipline, and helps them
think about issues from many perspectives, leading to various solutions. It further encourages
competition and creative play. As a result, the proposed solution includes an interface similar to
a board game with 1-4 players. The game's objective is to lower the temperature on the visual
thermometers, by correctly matching the solution to the cause ofglobal warming. In this way, the
players learn cause & effect and strategically apply the solutions.
