Abstract:
The project is to give back to the community by making an institute which will serve
as a medium to increase learning efficiency of the users and foster their growth holistically
through architecture thus providing them a platform to learn skills required to grow and prosper
in this day and age.
The site for this is located in the outskirts of Chakwal, at the junction of two towns i.e.,
Balkasar arid Pipli where the students have to spend a lot of effort and time in order to get the
basic education which is still not at par with the required standards. Moreover, though they
complete their formal education, they still are not skilled enough to be able to earn through
different means.
While considering the above problems the design process is initiated while keeping in
mind the innate problems of the education institutes of the area. For this purpose, the institution
is designed by understanding ways to increase learning efficiency and holistic development of
the children and implementing them in architecture through exo-spatiality.
Since holistic development not only caters to memorizing but also caters to a child's
motor, creative, logical, interpersonal, linguistic, intrapersonal skills etc so the tectonics were
done in such a way it polished their skills. Moreover, to enhance their skills in various other
fields and areas such as robotics, agriculture, computers, Artificial intelligence etc spaces for
them are also provided. All in all, the design catered to user groups of the area by acting as a medium in
nourishing individuals by providing a well-equipped learning space that polished their skills
and helping them to be financially independent by giving them a platform to interact and learn
skills.
