Electrical energy has slowly evolved into a basic human need with advent of the 21st Century. Modern everyday household appliances rely on electricity to operate. The need from electricity ranges from slums to mansions from cottage industries to large enterprises. The modern world cannot operate without an electric grid system to support it. Current power plants are a known and developed technology. They effectively provide an adequate energy supply, but the methods involved use up costly resources. Researchers are on the constant lookout for ways to improve the efficiency of such systems and reduce energy wastage. Improving resource management introduces a plethora of challenges that make it difficult to acquire. This report explores the ways that an organic Rankine cycle can be utilized to help curb these challenges and provide a steppingstone in getting more out of our current resources. |
