dc.description.abstract The aim of the project was to create a prototype of shorter version of cricket in unity3D. Game consists of characters modeled after superstars. Bowling and batting motions were captured using a kinect which were further edited to create organic animations. A combination of self-calculated mathematical models and Unity3D physics’ engine is employed to bring physics into the game. Unity's Navmesh AI System is employed for intelligent path finding and decision making by the fielders. Inverse Kinematics for real time deterministic animations is implemented for wicketkeeping. Another key aim of this project was the implementation of batting in first person mode with the aid of Wimote and MotionPlus to translate the pitch, roll and yaw of the controller into motion of the bat in the game; a competitive advantage over other cricket games. en_US
