dc.description.abstract Channels and tube bending is a common process that is used in many industries. There are many ways to bend a channel or a tube. However, most of the machines that exist in the market are for a specific range of tubes and bending radius. In this project, we conducted rigorous studies on existing bending strategies and machinesused in the industries. We analyzed a three-roll bending machine, which is used, for bending a variety of channels and tubes, having different radius of curvatures, just by changing the bending dies of the machine.We studied the structure in detail and found ways to use less and low-cost materials for the manufacturing of the machine. The core achievement of this project was the detailed analysis and designing ofa low-cost multi-purpose bending machine for different types of tubing and channels. en_US
