dc.description.abstract In this project we are going to develop a shopping cart that is capable to follow a human wearing a certain tag. The cart determines the position of the object (human wearing a tag) and then decides the way to follow it. It uses image processing to obtain the position of the object. The object following eliminates the difficulties of pushing the cart around and also eliminates the need for steering it. The project involves finding the path to follow the object and run the cart smoothly without any problem, using the laws of dynamics. Then making a control system that can be modeled in a control system. The robot cart uses two radii of turn depending upon the position of the object. Then there is a software written to operates and guides the cart to follow the human carrying the tag en_US
