Abstract:
The paper aims to explore the impact of the prioritization of military security, in the national interest of Pakistan, over human security conditions. The paper will explain the influence of the policies and the literature produced in the USA causing the militarization of the newly independent third world countries. The paper will use conceptual framework along with quantitative and qualitative tools to substantiate the argument. This study argues that the escalation of the degradation of the human security is as a consequence of the disconnectivity between nation’s interest and the current national interest and the national security of Pakistan.
