dc.description.abstract |
In this thesis,dual mode control is proposed for input DC voltage
regulation and an interior point convex optimization ,quadratic
programming algorithm is used to predict optimal switching func-
tions for all sectors of three phase inverter.It is done by minimizing
a cost function de ned for suppressing harmonics in output at every
interval of sampling frequency.Optimized inputs are further used to
generate a reference voltage signal,which is used for generating gate
pulses of two level three phase inverter by Space vector modulation
method.Discrete time model is used with grid connected load sys-
tem for model predictive control.q-Pll and conventional Pll schemes
are brie
y discussed in this thesis.Quadrature q-PLL is used for
synchronization with utility grid.Simulation are carried out in Mat-
lab to evaluate viability of controllers implemented.Results from
simulations tell how much MPC-SVPWM technique is superior in
performance than other linear conventional voltage source inverter
techniques like sinusoidal PWM and SVPWM technique. |
