dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project was to anodize and passivate the substrates, and to develop teflon and metaflex coatings at lab scale. The main parameters optimized were Voltage, Time, Concentration of Chemicals and Temperature of the baths. The scope of this project is to develop aerospace and marine coatings for multipurpose applications (corrosion resistant, non-stick applications etc.), following ASTM and Military and Industrial standards. en_US
