dc.description.abstract Since 2009, blockchain technology has taken the world by storm and penetrated almost every field. However, the question regarding how Blockchain (BC) can benefit Human Resources (HR) department is still not answered thoroughly. This study contributes to the literature on HR and BC by finding out how the two can be converged to bring more efficiency in the context of Pakistan by using a semi-structured interview approach from professionals in the field of HR and BC. The study found out that BC can be used in HR functions to bring more efficiency in the process. HR functions, including recruitment, compensations, employee relations, contracts, training, and development and complains management can be resolved with the help of BC. Study also explores the challenges and enablers in the adoption of the BC in the field of HR. The study sheds light on the fact that industry professionals can expect the convergence of the two in the coming five to ten years en_US
