Abstract:
The outcomes of e-procurement based operations are not yet matured in its true essence in the
domain of export of textile sector of Pakistan, as the transition of manual practices to ERP based
procurement practices is not matured. Therefore, an effort is made to understand the role of
stakeholders and inter organizational factors that are influencing the routinization phase of e procurement practices. In this research, key stakeholders along with their extensive role in
routinization of e-procurement practices is discussed, namely, suppliers, customers, competitors
and government. Alongside, the inter-organizational factors namely, employees’ mindset, cultural,
leadership transition and product oriented procurement practices are discussed that play a vital role
in routinization of e-procurement practices are discussed and a collective framework is presented
highlighting the factors that textile industries shall consider for a successful transition of e-procurement practices
